The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt program equips participants with a foundational knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and practices. This is ideal for individuals starting their Lean Six Sigma journey or those involved in process improvement projects as team members.

Module 1: Introduction to Lean Six Sigma (3 hours)
- History and evolution of Lean and Six Sigma.
- Core principles of Lean Six Sigma.
- Overview of Yellow Belt roles and responsibilities
Module 2: Understanding Processes and Waste (3 hours)
- Definition of a process.
- The 8 types of waste in Lean (TIMWOODS).
- Introduction to value-added vs. non-value-added activities.
Module 3: The DMAIC Framework (6 hours)
- Define: Understanding the problem and goals.
- Problem statements, SIPOC diagrams.
- Measure: Data collection and performance baselines.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), basic charts.
- Analyze: Identifying root causes.
- Tools: Fishbone diagram, 5 Whys.
- Improve: Implementing solutions.
- Brainstorming and basic solution prioritization.
- Control: Sustaining improvements.
- Standard Operating Procedures.
Module 4: Lean Tools (4 hours)
- 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
- Visual management.
- Kaizen and continuous improvement culture.
Module 5: Team Roles in Lean Six Sigma Projects (2 hours)
- Yellow Belt roles in DMAIC projects.
- Effective team collaboration and communication.
- Supporting Green and Black Belt professionals.
Module 6: Case Study and Practical Exercises using Minitab statistical software (4 hours)
- Hands-on problem-solving exercises.
- Team-based activities using DMAIC tools.
